Statistical methods make it possible to analyze the assumed data generated by random processes. For this reason, statistical methods are found in almost every study conducted within the scope of data analytics.
Developing and improving statistical methods in a way that they can be considered as a research topic in their own right and adapted to many applications is among the works carried out by VERİM.
In particular, within the framework of Bayesian Statistics, which aims to find the conditional posterior distribution of unknown variables to the data, studies are carried out on Monte Carlo methods, which are used to make inferences through simulation in complex models. Combining Monte Carlo methods with data privacy and adapting them to big data is a current research topic and is among the interests of VERİM.
