Data Mining

The fact that data collection is easier and cheaper with the development of technology has been an important motivation for data mining. Data mining aims to transform large amounts of collected raw data into valuable information. In this respect, it is directly related to the popular topic of recent times, "Big Data". The techniques developed within the scope of data mining can basically be summarized as finding relational or sequential rules, classification, and clustering. Methods should be changed and adapted or new methods should be developed according to the characteristics of the data examined; text mining and mining on social media are examples of these methods.
