Privacy and security need to be emphasized more in real life, as most data analytics applications focus on people and their data. At VERİM, Privacy and Security issues are discussed under the following main headings.
- Data Anonymization: In case the data is shared with third parties, breaking the link between personal information and sensitive data in such a way that it is impossible or very difficult to re-establish can be summarized as data anonymization.
- Analyzing Sensitive Data: If data analytics is going to be on sensitive data, one way is to analyze encrypted data. Or, results are returned by adding noise to sensitive data.
